Delete Your Account

We understand that sometimes you may want to delete your account. Before proceeding, please note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Follow the steps below to request the deletion of your Hourly Presence account.

Once your account is deleted, you will stop receiving hourly scripture notifications and your saved verses, reminder schedule and preferences will be removed permanently.

How to Delete Your Account

Open the App

Launch the Hourly Presence app on your device and make sure you are logged in to your account.

Go to Profile Settings

Tap on the Profile tab located in the navigation menu.

Select “Delete Account”

Scroll down to find the Account Deletion option and tap on it.

Confirm Your Request

To delete your account, select “Delete Account”, enter your password, and click “Delete” to confirm and complete the account deletion. Tap “OK” to proceed.

Account Deletion Request Submitted

Once confirmed, your request for account deletion will be processed.

You will receive a confirmation email regarding the successful deletion of your account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile and email address
  • Notification schedule and preferences
  • Saved and favourite verses
  • Device tokens used for push notifications

Processing time

Deletion requests are completed within 30 days of submission. Anonymised usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained, and limited records may remain in secure backups for up to 90 days where the law requires it.
